The
project includes the strengthening of the ground storey of a three-storey
reinforced concrete building in Chalkida, so that to enable the addition of a new storey.
The strengthening interventions involve the strengthening
of existing vertical elements of reinforced concrete by increasing the cross-section
with the application of new steel reinforcement, cast concrete and shotcrete,
as well as the strengthening of the foundation.
The project also includes the construction of new balconies and one retaining wall.
The construction began in November 2011 and
lasted four months.
