The project involves the seismic retrofit of reinforced concrete building in an industrial facility in Eleonas, Viotia. The strengthening was carried out using reinforced concrete jackets, steel plates and fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) laminates. The intervention works were carried out between April and May of 2024.

The project involves the repair of the masonry walls of the Asia Minor Civilisation Museum in Prokopi, Evia. The building had sustained significant damage at the ground level walls from the 3/11/2023 earthquake that occurred in the same region.

The interventions were completed in one month and took place shortly after the earthquake.

The project involves the strengthening of a six-storey reinforced concrete building with a soft ground floor in Neo Iraklio, Athens. The building had suffered significant damage at its foundation system and at the ground floor level, due to settlement. The retrofit scheme included the foundation strengthening with strip footings, the strengthening of the pilotis members with shotcrete jackets, and the increase of the global strength and stiffness of the building with the construction of new shear walls in its perimeter, along the entire height.

The interventions works were carried out between November 2022 and April 2023.

Damage repair and strengthening against gravity loading of a reinforced concrete slab with a total surface area of approximately 1,800 m² at an industrial facility in Nafpaktos. The slab had suffered severe cracking due to poor concrete casting. The cracks were sealed with epoxy resin injections, and the beams and slabs were strengthened with FRP laminates. At the same time, a new 60m² reinforced concrete slab was constructed, in order to close a gap in the existing floor. The new slab was connected with the existing building with a dense grid of dowels.

The total project budget was approximately €85,000, and the works were carried out in February 2021.

The project consists of local interventions to decrease the seismic risk in 17 building complex of the vocational secondary schools in Chalkida. The complex has a total area of approximately 17,000 m². The interventions primarily consisted of the repair of several ground floor infilled walls that had suffered significant damage due to soil settlement of the ground slab. At the same time, local interventions were conducted on various structural and non-structural members to mitigate seismic risk (e.g. repairs against corrosion with repair mortars and corrosion inhibitors, demolition of walls with concrete cutting, demolition and reconstruction of infilled walls with severe damage and strengthening of columns and beams with FRP wrapping or RC jackets).

The interventions took place between May and November 2023 and the budget amount to 500.000€

The project involves the strengthening of specific reinforced concrete beams in the Nikos Galis basketball arena at OAKA, in order to increase their load-bearing capacity so that they can support the loads from the construction of new steel slabs. The strengthening was done through wrapping  with FRP fabrics for shear, and FRP laminates for bending. The interventions took place in August 2024.

The project involves the seismic retrofit of the columns and walls of the soft ground floor (pilotis), as well as the shear walls in the perimeter of the elevator shaft in a building in Nea Kifissia, Athens. The strengthening was carried out with FRP wrapping of the columns and the walls. The interventions were conducted in two phases, in 2023 and 2024, for operational reasons.

Strengthening of the load-bearing masonry walls of a building in Peristeri, Athens, employing textile-reinforced mortars (TRM). The strengthening was applied to both sides of the walls, and the reinforcement was anchored using carbon fiber strings and epoxy resins.

The project involves the repair of damage and the seismic retrofit of the columns and the walls of the soft ground floor (pilotis), of a building in Paleo Faliro, Athens. These members had very low transverse reinforcement, while many of them suffered from corrosion problems. The strengthening was carried out with FRP wrapping.

The interventions were completed in one month in the autumn of 2023.
