The project is related to the strengthening of a masonry structure in Kimi with different intervention techniques, including grount injection, re-construction or simple preservation of the masonry wall. Further, significant interventions took place for the strengthening of the buildings foundations, such the construction of a strip footing at the perimeter of the structure and a continuous drain in order to prevent the development of hydrostatic pressures, due to the presence of surface waters.
The construction was completed between May and July of 2012.
