The project involves the repair and strengthening of the ground floor slab of an industrial building floor of 37.500 m2 in Patras. The floor had been severely damaged, due to the settlement of the soil filling below the slab with crack opening up to 5cm. The repair was carried out on an area of approx. 3.200 m2 and involved cement grouting (about 85,000 lt) below the slab to fill in the gaps and the repair of cracks of a total length of 4,000m with various methods, depending on the cracks width.
The construction works lasted 35 days and were carried out in the autumn of 2014.
