Stelios Antoniou is the Head of the Seismic Repair and Strengthening Section of ALFAKAT S.A. He is a graduate from the Civil Engineering Department of the National Technical University of Athens (N.T.U.A.) and has got a PhD in Earthquake Engineering from Imperial College, London. In recent years, he is head of the design, construction and supervision of private and public projects, with special emphasis on strengthening and retrofitting works.<\/p>\n

He is a member of the Hellenic Sociuety for Earthqauke Engineering (H.S.E.E.) since 2003, and a member of the Scientific Committee in Earthquake Engineering and Technical Seismology of the Technical Chamber of Greece (T.E.E.) since 2005. He is also a co-founder and the Research and Development Director of the Italian-Greek software company SeismoSoft ltd., which specialises in earthquake engineering applications. He has dozens of publications in scientific journals and European and World Conferences on various subjects of Earthquake Engineering and he is the author of Seismic Retrofit of Existing Reinforced Concrete Buildings<\/a> that has been published by Wiley-Blackwell (detailed CV<\/a>).<\/p>\n<\/div>

Konstantinos Antoniou is the Head of the Geotechnical Engineering Section (earth retaining structures, special foundations etc.) of ALFAKAT S.A. He is a graduate from the Civil Engineering Department of the National Technical University of Athens (N.T.U.A.) and holds an MSc in Soil Mechanics from Imperial College, London. In recent years he was involved in the geotechnical design of major infrastructure works in Greece, he has worked on projects of Egnatia S.A. ERGOSE S.A. He has collaborated with major Greek and international companies such as TERNA S.A., FERROVIAL S.A., DRAGADOS S.A. etc.<\/p>\n

He has collaborated with the Technical University of Crete (T.U.C) and the Organization of Development of Western Crete, (O.A.DY.K.). Finally, he has been working on the design and construction of deep excavations in the area of Athens.<\/p>\n<\/div>
