The project includes the design and construction of the strengthening interventions of the building complex of Miramare Hotel in Eretria Evia, which covers a total area of about 3500m2. The interventions involve the strengthening of existing vertical reinforced concrete elements with jackets using both cast-in-place concrete and shotcrete, increasing the confinement of columns with FRP wraps, the implementation of shear reinforcement using epoxy resins etc. Interventions are also carried out at the foundation of the building.
The budget reached 110.000,00€ approximately. The construction began in November 2007 and lasted two months.
