The project involved the construction of a 2700m2 supermarket store in the region of Peristeri in Athens, in a location where an existing supermarket existed.
The construction was carried out in three phases: during the first phase a temporary store has been created. In the second phase the existing store was partly demolished and extended, whilst in the third phase the two parts of the building are to be connected.
The total duration of the project is 8 months, and its budget was approximately 3,575,000.00€.
During the second phase, several strengthening interventions have been carried out, such as flexural retrofit with FRP laminates and shotcrete jacketing.
